Room is a fictional room in the movie „One Flew Over the Cuckoo’s Nest” that houses a mental patient, who voices his complaints through a series of questions. Room also has scenes of patients writing in notebooks, as well as scenes involving a live-in nurse who treats patients and acts as their caretaker and interpreter. The film depicts several patients trying to communicate with each other through their writing. In the movie, bell ringing is used to symbolize patient’s thoughts; however, it can be seen as an unconscious communication mechanism by other patients using body language or facial expressions such as mouth movements or eye blinking.
Room is a functional word. It has to be designed in a way that it can comfortably accommodate the human body and mind. Room is an essential part of every home where we spend most of our time, work, and even sleep.
The room is an important part of the house because it defines the living area. The term „room” is used in different contexts across different languages, cultures and subcultures around the world.
